backing up Active Directory

Hello

I have started a job in a new organization.
Currently the AD is not backed up.
They are using Veritas Backup Exec for the file server backups.

Is there a comprehensive article that explains how to backup Active
Directory with Veritas ?

Also, should I be backing up the entire domain controller itself ?
I am just learning about backups and need a really good intro article.

Documentation for Veritas? I would check their website.
But you can use the built-in backup if you want.
