Backing down from Exchange Server

I have a computer that was originally connected to an
Exchange Server and now I want to use the Outlook to set
up a new account and the exchange server no longer
exists. I need to do this because OE keeps stripping
attachments from the messages. How can I change the
outlook from exchange to stand alone?

Why not just go to Options, Security Tab and uncheck the
option to Not allow attachments to be opened or saved?

Just turn that feature off in OE, then.
