PPT 2003 or earlier:
Click on Format, Background, the box below Background fill with the down
facing arrow, Fill effects, Picture tab, Select Picture and find the picture
graphic then click Insert, OK, Apply or Apply to all. You are done.
PPT 2007:
Design on ribbon bar, Background Styles on right side of ribbon, Format
Background, Picture or Text Fill, Insert From select File and find the
picture file you want to use, select it and then click Insert. For all
slides click Apply to all at bottom of that window then close and you are
done.
