Backgrounds in Word

Hi



I am trying to set a background in MS Word 2000, this works fine however
when clicking on print preview I can only see the text with no background
and when printing I only get the text.



Can any one help?

The background option in W2000 only shows for HTML displays: it was never
intended to print.

As Terry says, "backgrounds" are for Web pages. For a printed page you need
to create a "watermark." See Word's Help under "Create a watermark" or “HOW
TO: Create a Watermark in Microsoft Word 2000” at
