Depends on what you are trying to accomplish. But in essence, everything is
editable if end user has access to presentation....
1. You can create a custom image (with text if desired) and place this as
the background image on the master slide - this will always be displayed
when in show mode (unless end user changes background on master slide).
2. The above will not show up if printing in B/W, as in this mode the
background is not printed. So you could place your entire background image
or just a .png (with transparency) of your text on the master slide and it
will always be displayed in show mode and when printed (again, the end user
could delete from the master slide).
3. Another option is to add text to the footer (which is the middle text box
at the bottom of the master slide. It can be repositioned and resized.) and
check the footer to display. This will display in show mode and when printed
(end user could turn off footers).
So there are a few ideas, but as you can see none are entirely fool proof.
