How do I get rid of the wording on the lower right hand
corner of the background, and why did windows put it there?
 
Hi Kelly,
I guess I should have included in my post I am a novice.
Do I just run the edit 185 and it will fix it or do I have
to know what I am doing? :)

It depends on what it reads: If for Testing Purposes Only, run the edit on
line 59: http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

If it reads the Windows Version etc....run the edit on line 185:
