I have a user in another state that is having a strange problem with
PowerPoint backgrounds. When she view the presentation she sees a grey
border around her background image. When I view it, it appears fine. So I
know the problem is on her machine, but I'm clueless on where to even start
looking for a solution.

I've tried, having her email me the presentation. I opened it and then
'Saved As' so the presentation had my settings. She deleted the presentation
on her computer. I then emailed it back to her. When she opened it, she had
the same problem.

Does anyone have any clues as to where to start or how to fix?

Which version of PowerPoint was the presentation created, and which version
of PowerPoint is on the out of state computer. Make sure that all computers
have the latest Service Packs installed.

We both have the same IT group, and the same PowerPoint Version (2003) We
both have SP1. I know there has to be differences in the two, but I'm lost

SP2 is the latest for version 2003. I would update both computers, and then
see if the problem still exists.
