Hi Anthony,
You can select different backgrounds in Word 2002
for webpage documents and .doc printed documents.
If you're in Web Layout view the Printed Watermark
choice will be greyed out in Format=>Background
Backgrounds selected in that view
will only be visible in web layout view and
can be printed if you use File=>Web Page=>Preview.
If you use Format=>Background=>Printed Watermark
while in Print Layout view you should be able to select
(o) Picture Watermark then [x] Select Picture
to apply your picture background to a printed .doc

Have Word XP under Windows XP Pro...
I think I'm misunderstanding the background procedure and hope someone can
clear things up for me.
I will go to FORMAT>Background and choose a background. I like that to
print, reading the help says click on "Printed Watermark". Unfortunately
this is grayed out. What am I doing wrong?
