I have a video clip I'm wanting to use in a movie. The problem is there are
some background noises in it I would like to edit out without losing the
actual intended video content/music. Can anyone suggest a good software
program for cleaning up noise in a video?

Unless you spend hundreds of thousands of pounds yo are not going to do it
succesfully. Can you introduce other effects, such as old movie, to mask
the noise and make it look like it is supposed to be like that?

Thanks Graham
I'll give it a try. If I don't like the way it looks then I guess I'm going
to have to hunt down my guitar guy and do a retape....lol

I'm just doing a 60th birthday dvd for a client and some of the video they
have given me is terrible, rather than spend hours upon hours trying to sort
it, I have done jsut what I suggested you do, make it look like it is
supposed to be like that, I quite liked it, hope the client does!!!

I applied the effect you suggested and I have to admit, liked it better than
I thought I would. Thanks Graham, hope your client loves the DVD you are
creating!
