Goodevening!
I would like to send a message using Outlook 2007, including a background
midi music.
How could I add it to the message?
I tryied a lot of tabs and ribbon but I found nothing useful to my aim.
Thanks for your help.
Greetings from Italy!

Outlook 2007 does not support the HTML features necessary to embed
music. This is by design (security reasons).

Thankyou! Clear and effective answers.
I think anyway that this and other web features should have been included,
enabling the system administrator to use it or not.
Office should be useful in reducing security threaths for incoming emails,
but why I should be limited even in sending a background midi file since
someone else could have security prolems?

Outlook 2007 uses the same component (a reduced version of Word) to read
and write emails. The situation is that the component doesn't have
support for these HTML features (and as far as I know never had).
Instead of therefore adding those features (=investing additional
resources) and making them optional, Microsoft decided to not do the
work in the first place and deliver a more secure experience to all
Outlook users (corporate or not).
This is a major change from previous versions of Outlook where Internet
Explorer was used to display HTML emails.

So, Microsoft should include a vector for security problems by default and trust Admins to turn the feature off? I don't think so.

It should also be noted that Outlook 2007 users who are desperate for that content can use the View in Browser command to display the message in a browser.
