hi.

by default i guess windows xp looks at 3 or so default
locations for images to display as backgrounds. 1.
C:\WINDOWS\Web 2. C:\WINDOWS 3. my pictures folder.
how can i edit these so that windows ONLY looks at the
c:\windows\web folder? i don't want every image i have
in the my pictures folder to appear in the available
images box in display properties. help!

Hi Thomas,
There is a workaround from David Candy. Place 100 or more pictures in the My Pictures folder and the background tab will not enumerate the files from My Pictures.
