Background Images do not display

Bob

Background images will not display in Internet Explorer 6.0,
yet they display perfectly in Netscape 7.2.
Individual images do display in IE 6.0 however.

Any thoughts?

Hi,
First check:
Control Panel> Accessibility Options> Display. Make sure that High Contrast
is not checked. Also click on Settings and uncheck Use Shortcut. That will
disable the Alt+Shift+Print Screen shortcut to High Contrast.

Then, Internet Options> General> Accessibility. For most users, nothing
should be checked.

Hi Don,
That worked in part. I left High Contrast and shortcut on. The screen
reverted to Windows blue colors. So, I just changed to Classic Theme,
and opened IE 6.0.
BG Images now showing. So with slight alteration, you made my day.

BTW: That was important since I maintain a MIDI site and a Realtor
site. Critical that I can view the pages before uploads.
