I inserted a JPEG as a background image in my PowerPoint
template. No matter what I try the background image won't
print to any of our B/W laser printers (mainly using a
Lexmark Optra S 1855). The background image will print
however on our color printer (Tetronix by Xerox). The
background image will also print if I send it to Word and
print the notes view, and the background image transfers
when I convert the file to PDF.
I'm using PowerPoint 2002 on Windows. The print
background image box in the options panel is checked.
I've also tried inserting the background image as a PNG,
GIF, and TIFF. None of those formats will print either.
If I insert the JPEG as a picture, the image will print,
but then the text has to be in overprint boxes and I
don't like that. I tried using other images for the
background image with no luck.
This is driving me CRAZY. Any assistance is greatly
appreciated.
