We operate a win2000 server with TCAL's enabled. One of our users had a
problem with an Excel 2002 worksheet which when opened by me was very easy to
identify. The little green triangles appeared in the top left corner of each
cell and all I had to do was "Convert to a Number". However, I tried to
explain the solution to the user but he was not seeing the triangles, I
logged on as him and right enough he was not displaying them, I checked his
settings in "Options\error checking" and the checkbox for Enable background
error checking is ticked. Please can you tell me why this would happen, and
how I can activate for him. We are using the same programs on the same server
with TCAL access.
