I am trying to create a green and white background. I guess that's called a
gradient.

I want the green to be in the top right corner and bottom left corner, and
of course I would lie the white to be in the top left corner and the bottom
right corner.

I'm new to frontpage so, please help me out.
Thank You.

That would require a screen size background image.
Gradients are only horizontal or vertical.

a diagonal gradient would be difficult.

I followed your steps, but when I set it as a background its like seperated
in blocks or something.

nah, if you're gonna set it as a full sized non repeating bg image you can
do it...i was getting ahead of myself thinking of how to do it with
css...nevermind.
