Does anyone know how to change or restore the background in windows explorer?
If you dont know what I mean, heres what Im referring to.
when you open the My Pictures folder.... behind all your fle and folders,
its white and theres an "illustrated" photo in the background.. When you
open"My Music" folder... theres a music note.... My Videos folder has a
filmstrip
Understand now? LOL anyway Is there anyway you can change that or restore
it? Cause in the "My Documents" folder on my PC shows a music note and when
you right click anywhere and go to "arrange icons by" it shows.. "artist"
"album year" "track number" etc etc.. It acts like "my Music" folder
anyway anyone with any idea let me know thanks in advance

The FolderType setting is once set in the registry and Windows XP does not
change the setting dynamically. Here are your options:

Try resetting the folder settings:

Click Start, Run and type C:\
Click Tools, Folder Options
In the View tab, click "Reset all folders"
Click OK.
Close the folder

If that does not help, see Keith Miller's advice here:
