Backdoor

I have a colleague who appears to have a major virus infection. Norton and
AVG both crash when run since the infection but AVG briefly displays a Virus
found indication and refers to BackDoor.Beastdc. I can find no reference to
this virus - does anyone know if it's a variant of Beasty ?

Sure that was the name? It doesn't look right. Maybe beast.d or
beast.c or beasty.d, etc. But not beastdc. VGREP shows 100 hits on
backdoor.beast:
