Back up utility

How do I install the back utility from my XP pro CD.
The default installation did not include this utility in
my system tools.

If you are using XP Pro then the backup utility should have been installed.
It is only XP home that backup is not installed by default. First go to
Start then click Run. In the Run dialog box type 'ntbackup' (without the
quotes) If backup is installed on your system the backup wizard should now
run. If nothing happens or you get a message that backup cannot be found
insert your XP cd and browse the cd. Look for a folder called ValueAdd.
Click on this folder. A subfolder called Msft should now be visible. Click
on this. Now click on NTBackup. The backup application should now reinstall.
