Back Up Restore Wizard

Windows xp home edition. I know there is suppose to be a
back up wizard on my computer. I cannot find any trace of
it. As the recovery disk was used to reinstall windows a
few months ago. I suspect backup program has not been
reinstalled. Could there be a folder loaded into the
computer somewhere that i would have to go to to start an
installation program. Or is it a question of ringing the
computers helpline to get help reinstalling this from the
recovery disk again

Backup is installed automatically on XP Professional, but not on
XP Home. If you have the complete XP Home CD, find backup on the
CD, in \ValueAdd\MSFT\NTBACKUP and install it yourself by
doubleclicking the file ntbackup.msi.

If you don't have an XP CD, you can download ntbackup.msi at
http://www.onecomputerguy.com/software/ntbackup.msi

Thanks for your reply . I have sucessfully downloaded
the back up program from the site you mention . Just have
to learn how to use it now.thanks very much
