Back up/Copy

Hello Ken
Firstly apologies, no offence intended, i will now use outlook expres
to access this microsoft newsgroup.

Secondly, thank you for your help regarding backing up, I have trie
backing up docs to a cd, and all went really well, I am now going to g
and try backing up windows. I do not use my pc for much work, jus
personal and family stuff but would like to be able to restore to m
origional settings if any thing should happen.

No offence was taken, and no apology is necessary. I was just
trying to set the record straight, and give you what I hoped was
helpful advice.

By the way, when you reply to a newsgroup post, please quote (as
I did here) enough of what you're replying to to put your
comments into perspective. Many of us (me, for example) don't
save already-read messages, and a message like yours, without a
quote is almost always very hard to read, and often completely
incomprehensible.

As a matter of fact, if you hadn't used my name at the beginning
of your message, I wouldn't even have realized this was a reply
to a message of mine, and I almost passed it by.

Again, no offence taken; the above is meant only to help you as
you post to the groups.
