My Back Button is gone and is very frustrating to use on
internet and othe areas with out ability to go back? I
have no clue-on XP/

Open Internet Explorer. Right click on the toolbar and select Customize.
Look in the list on the left hand side for "Back." Select it and click the
Add button. This action will move it to the list on the right hand side.
Next, use the Move Up and Move Down buttons to get Back into the desired
toolbar position. Then click Close. You should now see the back button on
the toolbar again. If the change is not immediate, close IE and then launch
it again. NOTE: You may need to "unlock" the toolbar and resize it a touch
to bring the button into view. Unlock is on the same right click menu as
the choice to Customize.
Alternatively, you could click the Reset button of the Customize Toolbar
window. This will eliminate any additions you've made but it will restore
all of the default toolbar buttons.
