Hi everybody!

I saved my PPT presentation as a slide show, without saving first the
changes.. How can I access slides from the slide show to do changes?
Thank you,

Serge

Hi Serge,

Do you mean you saved the presentation as .pps? If so and you wish to edit,
just open it again and save it as .ppt.

Good Luck.

Yes, I saved it as .PPS (and didn't save changes in .ppt before that). Now,
when I open it - the right click doesn't work, so how do I save it as .ppt
again?

Thank you

Try this, Serge:

1. Don't open it from where you saved it. Instead open the PowerPoint
program | FILE | OPEN | go to your.pps and open it. It will open as a .ppt.

OR 2. Go to where you saved the .pps | don't open it | right click the
*ICON* and from the drop-down menu click RENAME | change the extension .pps
to .ppt.

These methods work in my PowerPoint 2002. Here's hoping they work for you.

Thank you Andy,

It worked.. It's so simple, I should've guessed it by myself :)

Cheers,
Serge

FYI this does not work in 2007

Actually, option 2 (just changing the name from *.pptx to *.ppsx) doesn't
work in 2007. You can still open the PowerPoint Application first and open
the file from within the application.

Thanks Steve, should have mentioned that

The "changing the extension" part, that is.

You can still start PowerPoint and open the PPS/PPSX file then save as
PPT/PPTX.

Yes, "changing extensions" didn't work for me (PP 2007/Vista), but opening
the file from within the application - did.
