Back button problems

dave

When I am in a site and want go back to the last page, I
hit the back button and get this....
Warning: Page has Expired The page you requested was
created using information you submitted in a form. This
page is no longer available. As a security precaution,
Internet Explorer does not automatically resubmit your
information for you.

To resubmit your information and view this Web page,
click the Refresh button.

Can you assist in correcting this?

Hi,

This has to do with the way information you submitted by filling in a form
(such as a login screen) has been treated at server side. Nothing you can do
about at your side.

Kind regards

This is not an error. This is a security preacution to
prevent someone using the information you have submitted
malicously, or to prevent you from inadvertantly
submitting the information twice. If you wish to re-
submit the information, simply hit the refresh button (or
f5) and your client will do it for you. (warning, if you
do this while making an online purchase, you may cause
unesecary charges to your card)

If it is a site you use frequently try using either
right-click, Open in New Window
or
Ctrl-N
in order to open the page you want to leave in its own window
and then close that window when you want to "go back" from it.

Also, if the site wants to support the operation "to go back"
you may find that there is a button or link somewhere on the page
which will work better for you.
