Will Babya EXIF Viewer and bPicture '04 function on Windows 9.x/NT 4.0/2000?

No, Babya EXIF Viewer uses GDI+ functions to display EXIF meta data, and
because of this it works on Windows XP only. It may function on Windows
9.x/NT 4.0/2000,alhough it will only display basic information about images
(lumiance and color values) and Babya EXIF Viewer is not verified to work
correctly on these Windows version, but it works correctly when if you use
Windows XP. Babya bPicture '04 will run on Windows 9.x/NT 4.0/2000/XP.

In a strange state of curiosity, I decided to give it a go. I didn't get
far (I was unable to view any images) because it, apparently, does not
support multiple drives and I couldn't navigate to where my photos are
stored. When Trying to type a drive letter, it says "Invalid Path" well
before I manage to key in the colon, gives a runtime error, and dies. Ak.

You can view EXIF data in XP-by using the included Babya EXIF Viewer. To
open files on another drive-goto File-open or File-browse to in
bPicture'04's Viewer window works OK.

The problem, you see, is that you are toting your software as a shell
replacement. What's problematic about that is that it is functionally
considerably less intuitive than Micri$ofts shell and notably more unstable
than said shell. Given these facts and the general aesthetic shortcomings,
I cannot fathom using it--let alone IN-PLACE-OF a functional shell.

To quote a review you _didn't_ write,
"This guy and his app have been around for a long time, and quite frankly,
this is the worst and most useless piece of software I've ever seen. To
call Babya a "system", is like calling a pencil and paper a "word
processor". "

That said, A A, I believe your best bet would be to take your ambition down
a few notches and crank up the *focus*. Stop trying to build countless
useless applications and devote your time/resources to a single project
with potential. Maybe create the next great free text editor?

(By "Create the next great free text editor", I don't mean a clone of
Notepad to be integrated into your system. I mean from ground up create
something new that /transcends/ current software.)

I'm thinking of doing Constellation 4.0 using .NET

Well.... that's the best reason I've found to upgrade from Win98SE to XP.

Where is the best place to grab XP cheap?

Will it work with my Cyrix DX2-33 w/4 mb RAM???
