Hi Everyone,

I have a virus and have to uninstall Windows XP Pro from my computer. Along
with Windows I have lots of other programs on my C: Drive. Fortunately a
while back a friend installed another hard drive (I think it's the E: Drive)
and that;s where I keep all my data, so I thinks it's safe.

My question how do I back up all the other programs on my C: Drive before I
uninstall Windows? Thank you.

One can perform a backup of files and folders only, not programs. After
reinstalling Windows XP, you'll have to reinstall your programs using the
original installation CDs.

Hi Carey,

OK and thanks for the link! But what do I do about any programs I downloaded
from the Web? I know I have Adobe reader and WinZip for instance.

After reinstalling Windows XP, visit the websites of your other
programs and download the programs you desire:
