Hi
I recorded (for the first time) a movie from my Camcorder. Everything went well, except that the recorded video is in black and white instead of color. In the configuration box for the canmera-settings I am unable to set colors. What to do?

I get this problem if I use an SVIDEO cable. (I don't know why tho....)
It works fine with composite (yellow, red and white RCA/phono plugs).

Ensure that s-video and not composite is selected for the output, for
nVidia:
Control Panel -> Display -> Settings
-> Advanced -> GeForce4 -> nView Display Mode

Select Display: nView Display 2: TV
Click on Device Settings and select "select TV format"...

Wiggle cable, Make sure cable is good.

I am having the same problem, I have a Belkin S5U228 USB capture devive and cant seem to get any images captured in colour. Works fine if I use my Web Cam. I am in the UK so I have loaded the PAL drivers instaed of NTSC. ANyone any ideas? HELP!!!!

The issue here was very simple. When you load the CD that came with the Belkin adapter there is a configuration question about which country you are in. This is very easy to miss and is defaulted to the US. Re-install the Belkin software from the original CD , making sure you state that you are not US. It will prompt for country and load the correct drivers. Took me a week to figure it out but it all works fine now.
