This looks like a slightly expensive crash for the flagship of the American Air Force and indeed possibly its military ..

A B-2 Spirit, two F-16 Fighting Falcons and an F-18 Hornet sit on the flightline at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam

One has apparantly crashed in Guam just after take-off

£610 million quid..

Ouch... That's the equivalent of £10 for every person in the UK!

Unbelievable when you put it that way Ian...The USAF has 4 deployed at Guam in a 21 fleet that cost a reputed $44m  and that was in 1999 and congress is very reluctant to expand the fleet further ...me wonders why ?

Problems it encounters are Radar absorbant paint peels off too quickly
Radar has trouble distinquishing between mountains and clouds
Ejecter seat problems
wing skins developed holes..

so £610m and it still aint right :)

I bet the pilots touched cloth when they decided they needed to pull those levers...

Banging out just after take off cant have been fun.
The plane would have probably been at max power at the time.
Not a nice experience!
