Axim X30 What is it with Toolbar control?

Hi there all.
I spend almost half a day searching in newsgroups and "known issues", why
the ToolBar buttons don't show.
After working through this, I don't seem to figure out what the correct
background color must be, in the images
used for the buttons. I have tried silver(192,192,192), white but nothing.
What is the color treated as transparent on the ToolBar?
I have tried using icons, filled the background with the transparent color,
but that makes the background look black.
I have an Axim X30 with SP2 installed.

If you add icons to the ImageList in the designer they will lose their
transparency. The workaround is to add the items to the ImageList within
your code e.g. after the InitializeComponent call. This is because the
designer incorrectly adds the resources as Images rather than Icons and they
lose their transparency information.
