Hi,
I have a VPN connection defined, and a batch script which handles
forging the connection via RASdial, altering routes for gateways and
such; works great.
The problem is that when I'm not connected to the VPN, and I'm
browsing the 'net, if I hit an IP that's slow to respond, Windows pops
a dialogue to connect to the VPN.
Typically, the dialogue appears behind the browser window, and
the browser tends to hang until I notice the presence of the window
and dismiss it.
Is there a way to prevent Windows from attempting the VPN
connection? Seeing this in 2K and XP.
I could probably find the answer to this if I could find a terse
way to phrase the question. Thanks!
