avoid remote desktop but...

As soon as I delete the files in netmeeting folder, I then delete from
recycle bin but they go back to the folder for netmeeting, and I made SURE I
was not hitting trhe restore button. I tried deleting files 10 times in a
row, to find all 10 attempts stored in recycle bin, but they still reapppear
in ther netmeeting folder, which will not allow me to delete said folder.

This seems like an action that would be caused by a hacker who has been
harrassing me for four months, and I recently bought a Cisco 501 hardware
firewall, yet am not sure this will keep him out.

Have any ideas that might help me to get rid of netmeeting? I have shut off
many services (which I found a link for in one of these ms newsgroups),
especially those that would allow an intruder to have remote control of this
machine. I'm stressed....only because this guys almost too good at what he
does and I cannot undo his "damage" without input from the pros at MS and
Cisco, yet he still may have a way in.....didn't think he did till I found i
was unable to get rid of netmeeting.

Hi:

To stop a posible Hijacker from controlling your system, disable Computer
Browser
Service, disable Remote Access in Control Panel\System.
Download HijackThis, disconnect the Internet connection wire and delete
posible
parasites, before connecting the wire again, make sure you have enabled the
Internet
Connection Firewall, closed all ports, changed your passwords and installed
the MS04-011
Security Update. If you haven't kept your system updated, now is the time
to do it.

How to enable the Internet Connection Firewall

"HijackThis" will probably get rid of any Hijacker's Software that's
probably in your
system. It will detect good and bad processes, so watch what you delete...
or save a log file and post it for advice.. In any case it makes backups of
anything
you delete for future restoration but better be sure....
