I have created a web for someone and need to save it to disk so they can have
it on their computer and not mine. When I do this it will not let us save it
for writing and they need to make daily changes. What am I doing wrong or is
this even possible?
Can any one help us?
Thank you
Cynthia

not a problem!
just publish your web to a server (on the internet) then have the other
person simply open FrontPage, hit file/ open web, type in the http://
address you published it to, then when it's open hit file/ publish and
publish it "down" to their local computer.

Just tried with my own web when I hit file/ open web, type in the
http://............ then when I hit file/ publish web I get my regular log in
so how does this save it to their computer for working on?? Am I being a
pest..Sorry. I went through this same problem when I conected my new computer
and ended up making a new web from the new computer. Now I'm haveing other
issues with that I'll try to deal with later.

Once again thank you!!!!!

It doesn't, your friend will have to do it from her computer with FrontPage.
She will open web on the server, then publish to her local harddrive.

Thank you too Rob!! I feel totally brain dead. Now I know where to come for
the problem I'm having with my web! Thank you!

It's the computer radiation that does that :-)
Yer welcome.

your client can then publish back to their computer using frontpage and the
http: publish method. Select Publish from Remote to Local.
