i am due to give a powerpoint presentation. however, the avi file created in adobe premier plays in the original (on my desk top, XP Standard) but not on another machine that also uses XP. this is despite having performed the pack and go function having the linked avi files in the same directory as that on my desk top. please help!!!!!!!!!!!!

This often happens because the Windows settings and installed codecs on your
desktop don't necessarily match those on the system you've moved to. See

information.

Have you tried putting the presentation and video on the new computer you
want to use, in the same directory and just linking the video again? In
other words, delete it from the slide and then insert it again, but this
time going from the place on your new computer you are going to use for the
presentation. Marge Sulla
