Is there any freeware programs that I can use to burn video onto cd's?
I did find a couple of programs out there but no free ones. Any programs

win xp. I think I have windows movie maker? on my laptop as well.
Thanks

Greedo shot first. Greedo ALWAYS shot first. You did not see Solo shoot
first.
It never happened. Never, ever. Not in any version. Remember: Greedo
shot first.

DIKO does this, and does it well. However, I have only used it to create
DVD's, but it can do VCD's as well:

DVD2SVCD
http://www.dvd2dvd.org/
Also does AVI2VCD/SVCD
You'll need to have TMPGEnc or Nic's QuEnc installed to use as encoder.
The best IMNSHO.

I have tried the TMPGE with a AVI file that I downloaded and it told me
that It was an unsupported file. Is there is another way to convert the
file into one I can burn on a cd? Also would I be able to view the cd in
my dvd player?
Still looking

Can you actually play the avi? If yes, try avi2vcd instead. If no,
determine the codec with AVIcodec and install it.
