Does anyone know a good program that can convert multiple avi files into 1 dvd format so that i can watch on my dvd player? With the option to create dvd menus included.

at the moment its getting annoying just converting 1 file into 1 dvd , just feels like a waste of dvd's when i could have several more of my holiday movies into 1 dvd instead of 1 each seperately.

The obvious choice is Nero, it manages that task just fine.

I use Nero and also a conversion program by Imtoo, which cost me about £18.00 to download.

Nero is too slow. Takes too long and sometimes it just crashes halfway through.

Well, it works just fine for me on a lesser specced system than you have, to whit:

AMD 64 3200 (2Ghz)
Asrock Dual Sata 2 board
1 Gb (2 x 512) Corsair Value Select RAM, dual memory mode
ATI 9800 Pro 128Mb video card

Perhaps your system needs a tweak or maybe it's that mis-matched RAM you have.

Whatever, if Nero can't handle it I don't think you'll have much joy with anything else.

But I hope you do. Good luck.

Thanx for info, i need one that will enable to compile several avi into 1 dvd format, with the option to have dvd menus.

Don't get me wrong i like using nero vision its just it takes way too long for the process to finish and like i said sometime it just bugs out.

I use to have a program that will compress the output into 4.7 GB so that it will automatically adjust regardless to the amount of file converted offcourse the more file the less the quality output.

If i remmeber correctly win avi lack dvd menu feature also does not support several converstion at the same time with auto compress.

No dvd menus features, its too plain.

if you click on the link " Comparison between Pro version and Lite version" you'll seee that the Lite version costs $19.99 about £9.00 . this will handle and convert almost any video file . With free upgrades aswell .
