AVI Movie files

My student is creating a multi media project which includes movie files. The
moderator who we send projecty to for marking will only accept max 30mb of
work and of course the movie files, although small are very large in size.
Is there a solution to reduce size and still have the movie files work?

You could use the "Best Fit to Size..." option and set it to 30MB.
This way you get the highest quality possible within your constraints.
