Hi all

I am trying to insert an AVI film into one form and it reacts with rejection
notice .

This AVI file was produced in a CANNON digital camera .

What is wrong what could be done ?

Should I convert that AVI to other video format ?

Thanks
EC

..avi is a very generic term that basically means uncompressed video. It can
be formatted to many codecs, not all of which are going to work with
PowerPoint. I would recommend converting to a more compressed format (at
10MB .avi should go down to a 1MB .wmv with the same quality). If you do not
have software, but a good internet connection, try a service like:
www.zamzar.com to convert your movie. I recommend .wmv (windows media
video).

Usually you cannot change the file type by renaming a file. But some cameras
assign the wrong extension to their files. So you could try to rename the
AVI file to MPG.
