What I want to do is to transfer(burn) about one 60 minutes of avi file
(which is 60 minute tape of mini DV cassette) into one DVD disk (4.7 GB).
Without compression, one mini DV tape needs three DVD disks. The video camera
is Panasonic PV-GS400.
Please let me know how I can do this? Windows Movie Maker and/or other
softwares ? Thanks.

Hello,

When I create a movie to play in a DVD player, I use Movie Maker to create
the movie. Then I use Roxio Easy Media Creator to create the DVD. With Roxio,
you can create animated menus that will load your movie(s). I’m sure there
are other tools that do the same thing if you look around.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
What I want to know is whether Roxio has a file conversion feature?

Yes it does.. Here's what I found in the Help file. Hopefully it will format
properly so you can read it.
