I have uploaded all of my clips from my FLIP camera. They are saved in AVI
format. When I try to drag them onto the storyboard, I get the message that
only video clips are allowed there and these are audio. When I use the
timeline, my clips go to audio. I hope someone can help me!!!

XP or Vista?

I'm guessing these files are saved in a folder on
your hard drive?

If you play the files in Windows Media Player do
you get audio and video?

Maybe the following freebie will help identify the
proper codec for your .avi files:

Solutions that work for
me may not work for you

Proceed at your own risk

Try saving your videos in the WMV format using the
"Online">"Other Websites">"Other Websites/export your videos for sharing"
feature within the FlipShare application.

These videos will then be saved to your computer desktop in the compressed
WMV file format and you can try to then import these videos into Windows
Movie Maker.
