hello group,
i've been using avg-antivirus(7.1) and recently when i used this to
scan my sysytem i've found out a virus that has attacked all my .exe
files that are present in my sysytem.when i tried to heal them using
AVG all the files(.exe) were moved to virus vault and from then i'm
not able to use any of the soft wares that are installed on my
system.even though i tried to restore the files from the vault to its
original location the path could not be set correctly .help me out
with this friends

Try using System Restore to go back to a time before you got the virus.
 
I believe AVG is up to 7.5 and advised you that there would be no more
updates for 7.1.
Uninstall 7.1 and get 7.5

Have you tried reinstalling the software? That will usually do the trick,
assuming your system is now clean and no more viruses are around to disable
them again. If you don't have the install programs, then they're not
likely to run again. Once the EXE program has been toasted by the malware,
I highly doubt an antivirus program going to be able to fix them,
especially one that is out-dated.
