Anybody with AVG 7 (registered) had a problem with Black Ice firewall logs
showing (wrongly) as infected with SQL Slammer?
Anybody know how to prevent it showing?

The machine in question has NO slammer infection...

I don't have either of those programs, but the AV is
probably alerting on the logged exploit code used
by slammer.

Is there any reason for you to scan the firewall logs?

That's good.

That's good.

As a general rule, no real reason as they shouldn't get infected, but they
are on the drive and I AV scan the whole drive....
I will filter the log files out then, as this was the only reply and it
obviously isn't a common fault or bug in the program.
Many thanks.

You may want to check back to see if anyone else answers.
I don't know by what mechanism AV detects or intervenes
with slammer, and I'm not an authority in these matters. It
just seemed logical to me that log files need not be scanned
by an AV product, and slammer code gets logged.
