AVG versus AVAST?

I'm using AVG Free now.
I wanted you all's opinion on AVF Free Vs AVAST?
When is better and which is not as bloated?

Using Avast--First AV installed after getting rid of Norton. Works so well
that I have never considered trying anything else. How does one measure the
bloatness level let alone compare them?
