AVG v7 released

It's not a typo....
for some reason, there are members of the alt.comp.freeware. community who
live to spread rumors. I don't know why, but it reminds me of my small town
roots, and from my ficctional readings of NY neighborhoods, the same.... Go
figure....
and don't be discouraged, my computing acquaintance, just go to the source
everytime, and you won't be bamboozled....

Is the free version still not AVG 6, though? If you follow your link
above the user agreement still reads AVG 6, and elsewhere on their
pages where they tout the new AVG version 7, I don't see anything that
specifically says there's a free version of 7, only that they will
"continue supporting" version 6 at that site.

??

I had so many system problems with the beta of version 7 that I doubt
I'd go for it, anyway...

There is a free download of a 30 day trial version of AVG 7 as stated
below but the full program is not free after 30 days. Below is from
their web site.

I tried AVG 7 updated it and found it found a virus but was unable to heal,
delete or move that virus to vault. So I have gone back to AVG 6.
