Added detection of I-Worm/Zush, I-Worm/Nolor, I-Worm/Miniman, I-Worm/Lehs
and new variants of Worm/Randex, Worm/Raleka.

With the program update of September 8, AVG 6.0 now supports smaller update
files! AVG 6.0 customers will benefit because of the quicker distribution
and download times of the new updates. In order to take advantage of the
smaller update files, your system must be on version AVG 6.0.516 or higher.

Was very very slow to update.

I have the AVG 6.0.518 Free Edition version, release date 09/02/2003. I
just
now installed the latest update from the shortcut the program set up on my
desktop, and it updated within a few short minutes on my system, WinME. The
update info for mine says 9/11/2003, but, when I look at the log window, it
says that the database is less than 14 days old but, nothing more. Is there
a difference in the way AVG Free Edition updates compared to the paid
accounts?

I have only recently installed the AVG free program to test, so I really
don't know if this is a norm or not.

Best regards,

Jan :)

Yeah. The download is fine but connecting is a problem. I got todays
update by logging into ftp.grisoft.com . It's in pub/softw/60/fe . Had
to go to the website for the update file number. I guess there's a
system of some kind but it's not one I've been able to figure out.
Still a 3.5 meg file.
