AVG updates?

Is there a way to download the definition updates with a download
manager? On the Grisoft website I only see a complete program update,
something like 3.6 Mb. AVG does not always very well here for updates:
quite often I get a message that the downloaded file has been
corrupted and will be deleted. I don't like al that automatic stuff
anyway and prefer a manual download and install.

The filesize indicated on this page (3679584 bytes) doesn't match the update file size in AVG
integrated update module (~ 1490 kB). There must be some difference between the manual and
the automatic update. The automatic update may lead to a reduced file with only the necessary
new/updated virus definitions that haven't already been taken into account on the user's PC...

You're welcome Bob. For next update, I'll try to look carefully at
the url of the file downloaded within AVG's integrated update module
and compare it to the url indicated on Grisoft's website.
