AVG updates question

I know that when AVG did big updates, the advice (from the AVG 6 FAQ )
was:

"Can I delete previous AVG update files (d601????.bin files) from the
UPDATE folder?
Yes. We recommend you keep only the latest update and if you have one
the ctf file."

But with these smaller updates, is this still appropriate? If not, what
*should* one (be able to) delete?

Thanks Mikey. I was about to try that (reversibly) by dropping all but
latest into a temp folder, and see if the beast still ran... saved me
the trouble, thanks.
