AVG Update Max File Size

I am trying to download an update file for AVG 7.0 ......the file is 2.2kb
but when my pc starts downloading it only gets to 32%which is exactly 1kb
and then it disconnects me.

Is there a setting somewhere that is set to say...max download file 1kb.

It seems a bit odd .....

Is this the free version? I have the free version, (6.0.622), & recently,
I'm lucky to even connect to the server to get the new virus databases. It
disinfected much of a virus I had last night called Netsky.P.worm. I got
this by opening a DOS application attachment. via my msn email called "All
About You", or some shizl-nizl. I used Panda's online scanner today to
disinfect the rest of this crap. I saw the report of both scans, & I noticed
this virus had a lot of shizl-nizl like "Britney Spears Nude.jpeg" & so on.

Ya know, I just went to AVG's free edition website, & I'm d/l--ing version
7.0.
 
mines version 7.0 too.......and guess what i just left the pc and it
reconnected and downloaded the rest of the files.

God moves in mysterious ways.

Yeah, I notice now what I said earlier. I didn't check to see what the
newest version of AVG's free edition was. I redownloaded 6.0. The new free
version is 6.0.639. I am still having problems connecting to the AVG server
to update the virus database, so I have to now manually d/l them from their
website. Oh well. I did a Panda online scan as well, which helped me get rid
of the Netsky worm.

In the "Download from server" box, type www.grisoft.com. It's less
busy and works more often for me.
