Hi,

I'm getting the following returns from AVG that are driving me crazy.

This is the AVG E-mail Scanner program.

I'm sorry to have to inform you that the message returned
below could not be delivered to one or more destinations.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
abc@xxx: sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)
-------------------------------------------------------------------

Your e-mail message is being returned to you in the next part of this
message.

Should you need assistance, please e-mail to [email protected]

Now I have sent emails to these people before - this person only some ten
minutes ago, and it worked OK.
Any thoughts as to what gives?

I got that bounce message when sending to some AOL addresses awhile back.
Someone told me to capitalize the part of the email address before @aol.com
and it hasn't happened again. For example: (e-mail address removed)

It may just be a temporary quirk of AOL, unrelated to AVG. But to see if
it's actually caused by AVG, deactivate the AVG smtp proxy server for
awhile.

It's just started happening to me on NTL as ISP in UK.
Not sending to AOL.
Seems to happen on any ISP but not done a proper check on that.
Too dammed irritating keeping getting the message.

Where does it come from?
Only appears after I've sent a message, disconnected from the server then re
connected.
