How to stop AVG leaving the scan message on outgoing emails, thanks.

Cheers.

This is weird, I've got AVG but it doesn't add anything to outgoing
emails.

But I remember I've read other people emails with this notice. Very
strange.

It is an option on one of the configuration panels within the program.
Clueful people have found that and turned it off. More-clueful people
have turned off Inbound and Outbound email scanning, as it isn't
necessary. (But I guess it gives warm, fuzzy feelings to newbies.)

That "scanned" message is merely-an advertisement, 'cause there ain't no
way it can guarantee what the message says.

I've just reverted to AVG, Avira and Avast are I believe a little
better, but both exhibit an annoying glitch on my setup.
I leave the email scanning on and I assume outgoing message since I
can't see any harm in doing so. Maybe I'm just an old newbie.
