AVG Python virus

Today I noticed a threat after my AV scan. It was called Python 2.2.1.exe I
saw on the virus discussion that someone else got it as well, but it was
2.2.3.exe.

I finally went to AVG message forum, saw others were getting it as well, and
it was NOT going into the virus vault, neither was mine. Someone posted to do
an update as it will clear it. I did the update, then another scan, and it
was clean.

My updates are scheduled for 8-10 a.m. and the AV scan is scheduled for 10
a.m., so the update didn't come thru early enough to fix it. Hope this helps
anyone who has seen it on their scan....:-)
 
Your welcome Robin. I did see where someone had posted on the virus
discussion that they got it too, so I did some searching to see what was up.
Thank goodness the update fixed it. Got to love that AVG...:-)

BTW..I'm trying out the AVG AS, so far, so good. Have my son using both as
well, and he is impressed, as he was disgusted with Norton. Seems since I put
SpywareBlaster and both AVG AV and AS, things are running very smoothly.
