I have replaced AVG & Panda AV with Avast 4 recently.
I am using Windows XP Pro on my home network.
When Outlook 2003 loads on my settings(Administrator) there are no problems.
Everything works just fine =^)

When it loads on my wife's settings(Administrator)she gets the following
error messages when loading Outlook 2003:

"Addin (Panda) could not be installed or loaded"
"Addin (AVG) could not be installed or loaded"

Never got there before using Avast 4. I like Avast =)
Only happens on wife's settings!
I have deleted all files containing AVG/Panda info.
What will make these stop?

Help greatly appreciated,

Both Panda and AVG suck.

Other than the stupid remark (both of those are good AVs), this is due to
the MAPI Outlook add-on still being there after uninstall. Simply go to your
Outlook options and uncheck the plug-in. It won't try to load at startup
after that. Not sure where this is at in Outlook 2003. For previous versions
it was Tools, Options, Other, Advanced, COM Components.

thanks much Kali =)
Sometimes all that some people(other response to me post) can do is
criticize something because they don't have answers.
You on the other hand have been a big help.

Hi Kali,

I checked COM Components and there is nothing there to uncheck.
Not sure what to do next.

Thanks,

jack

Wish I could help more but I'm not familiar at all with Outlook 2003. Try
searching for pav and avg in regedit to see if you find something trying to
load in one of the outlook keys.

OK, here it is:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Exchange\Client\Extensions
Delete the PAV key.
